Ontario Autism Program
Ontario is developing a new sustainable autism program that offers core clinical services based on need.
Children and youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by a qualified professional may be eligible for the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). Through this program, families can access services and supports for their child up to the age of 18.
The OAP follows a needs-based approach, ensuring that each child receives services tailored to their individual strengths and challenges. Core clinical services available through the program may include:
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
Speech-Language Pathology
Occupational Therapy
Mental Health Supports
At Ontario ABA Therapy, we align our services with the OAP model to help children build communication, social, and daily living skills in a supportive and evidence-based environment.
